Start with Sign

My wonderful husband Paul and I have been married for just over 27 years. I have three daughters: Kate 24, Elise 21 and Emily 17. I went back to college after my youngest daughter went to school and graduated from an interpreter training program in 2001. I work as an educational interpreter at the elementary level and this will be my 8th year. I also tutor families who have children who are either deaf or have some other communication disorder where they use sign language.
"Sign2Me has totally enhanced everything I do involving signing and young children. My only regret is that I didn’t know sign when my own children were babies. To be honest, I have taught actual baby sign classes for a year or so because I only give classes through our local school district’s community ed and I haven’t had any people sign up for the past few sessions. However, I am constantly using what I have learned through the SIGN With Your BABY program, the presenter forums and then additional research that I’ve done through this. I absolutely loved the book "What’s Going On In There?" that we’ve been asked to read for the next level of certification. I could go on an on here about how much this has impacted my life and my work. I want to thank all of you for all that you give, especially through the forum. I am pretty active because I want to share what I have learned through my experiences. And, I am so enthusiastic about signing with all children, hearing and deaf, that you can hardly keep me quiet anyway!"
