My wonderful husband Paul and I have been married for just over 27 years. I have three daughters: Kate 24, Elise 21 and Emily 17. I went back to college after my youngest daughter went to school and graduated from an interpreter training program in 2001. I work as an educational interpreter at the elementary level and this will be my 8th year. I also tutor families who have children who are either deaf or have some other communication disorder where they use sign language.

To be honest, I have taught actual baby sign classes for a year or so because I only give classes through our local school district’s community ed and I haven’t had any people sign up for the past few sessions. I am pretty active because I want to share what I have learned through my experiences. And, I am so enthusiastic about signing with all children, hearing and deaf, that you can hardly keep me quiet anyway!"
